Practice Highlights:

  • Traditional Family Medicine practice with or without OB
  • Deliveries: Approximately 80-90 at the hospital per year
  • Estimation is that FM/OB physician could do about 10% OB
  • Call expectations: 1:3 with Pediatrics call
  • High risk patients are taken to Eugene
  • C-sections by FM/OB and OB/GYN
  • Be part of building the department and how it is structured
  • Teaching opportunities medical students and plans are developing to do rotations for OB students

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
